The Swedish Hospital Emergency Medicine Residency Program considers each application individually; therefore, we do not have any specific test score criteria. Interviews are offered on a case-by-case basis. All applications must be submitted through ERAS online system. In addition to the application and personal statement, Swedish EM Residency requires the following documents to be considered: 

A complete ERAS Application includes the following:

• Medical Student Performance Evaluation (MSPE)

• Official Medical School Transcript

• At least one (1) Standardized Letters of Evaluation (SLOE).

• Personal Statement

• USMLE or COMLEX Scores

  1. No minimum score requirement

  2. Prefer applicants pass on first attempt but will review on a case-by-case basis

  3. Step 1 & 2 must be completed prior to beginning of residency
